Give it a break!
This made-for-TV remake of INVASION OF THE SAUCER MEN is a light-hearted romp that emphasizes comedy over horror. Considering that 31-year-old John Ashley plays a teenager, it almost *has* to!
Yes, it's a cheap flick, and yes, the day-for-night is as bad as described. All the other stuff you've heard about--the schlocky aliens, the Air Force voyeurs, the female lead's nearly-airborne hair--is true as well.
And yet...it was really entertaining. Just about everyone seemed to be having a great time while making this flick, and that's what sold me on it.
This isn't art. It's just plain dumb fun.
And there's nothing wrong with that.

Original title
Can anyone upload a color copy of this film under the original title, "Attack Of The The Eye Creatures"? And no, that wasn't a typo, as anyone who's seen this on MST3K would testify. I gave it five stars as it's one of my all time favorite bad movies.

Irrelavancy of PD
I love this movie..it brings back memories!
I saw this when I was a kid and never forgot it.
The MST3K version is hilarious.
And NO this movie IS NOT as bad as someone
posted earlier....Its classic Buchanan.
Buchanan is a genre & a state of mind.

PD or not PD...
The FILM is PD. The TITLE is not. Anyone can add a new title sequence to a PD film and claim it as their own on the basis of "added material." I did that with "Body of the Prey" on this site. That's how the makers of "A Boy and his Dog" reclaimed it from the PD, as the original theatrical version had an invalid notice, but the owner of all the prints added material before it was released on VHS.
By the way, this movie sucks. For Larry Buchanan completists only, it's the worst of the Azaleas...and that's saying something!

Eye Creatures in living color!
The opening credits suggest this version is not PD. What say the experts?
